in response to maureenmo...Maureen I don't knowof any place that will give free markers.I want you to know my story.I lost 2 baby boys from premature delivery.I lived in Nashville TN at the time.Woodlawn cemetary had a program to bury them for free but the markers had to be bought.Both my boys are buried in the same grave.We never had the money to pay for the marker.My marker was $2,300.Years later my husband had an afair and let me for another woman.After the divorce I knew that I would be leaveing the state and move to my home state of South Carolina.I could not leave Nashville until I had my babies grave marked.I loved them and they deserved to be marked.I made a deal with Woodlawn.I paid $23.00/month until the markers were paid for then they laid the marker down.I moved to SC a few months later.I being a single mother paid for that marker myself.My ex-husband did not want anything to do with it.He said let the dead bury the dead.Besides raising my liveing 2 children to adulthood being a single mother my greatest accomplisment was paying for the marker for my 2 dead sons.I sacrificed for them.Yes,It took a total of 25 years to get them marked but I did it.In the mean time I marked their grave with flowers.When I went to Woodlawn and paid that last payment the mortorary personell clapped their hands stood up and gave me praise for doing what I did.They said that most people who lost babies and buried there never paid off a marker.Good luck in your search but in the mean time see if your mortorary will let you set up a payment plan like I did.

Hi I have been Despratly looking out there for option if there would be any to getting a car donated to me. It has been and still is a extremly long road of a journey that I have been dealing with. My life has been nothing but challenges, fighting struggles and dealing with anxiety and depression for years since my mom passed away then my ex husband left me with my son that was only 3 at the time and is now turning 10. Okay it has been a long time, but I am back to let you know how things are going. Since September 2010, I have buried my grandmother, lost my car to repossession 2 weeks later. Though I have been threatened with eviction, I am still in my apartment for now. They can't do anything until they serve the papers.
However, I don't sit and wait. Though I am still disabled, I have been looking for work with a chance to come back to working for Alpine Access. Due to the funeral I could not continue with training the first time, but God allows things to happen and I am thankful for my second chance. Also I am looking to start with a work from home staffing company cybertary.com. I am thankful to have more than one job option again and I speak the same for all of you who are currently looking to start over at a new job.
Also I made a post about consolidation on your car payments. Don't waste your time with that. Though I have suffered a repossession, I still have an opportunity to purchase another car. It might not be new, but at least it will be reliable.
I am still trying to gather up the funds to look for a new place. I have screened several roommates. Some were truly trifling, but there is a handful of people that I have met who I can see myself living with until i get back on my feet. Sometimes in this case you have to start at the bottom just to get to the top. I am in need until I start my job(s) next month of some funds to help me pay for first month's rent. About $400 or so. My surgery last November has caused 3 more major health conditions that have knocked me back for a while. I am going to try and catch up , but it will be very slow. My links page needs to be re-done , so that is the first priority. That and replying to personal messages. I will , as I said , be pacing myself very slowly , so please be patient. I truly do care about how other people are trying to survive in this world. I know personally what pain and suffering are.
